boyah gaming podcast

I love the Retronauts podcast, mostly because they focus on a specific game/series/genre every week. Most gaming podcasts just talk about new games and the industry and that is WAY less interesting imo

boyah is one of the best resources for gaming that i've found and i am continually surprised by how much you nerds know about  video game and video game niches

but yeah it would be cool if we talked about a specific game or series, maybe once every two weeks to start. there could be consistent people, and there could also be people dropping in and out depending on the topic of interest. i like to focus specifically on niche games/series just because those are most interesting to "hardcore" gamers and they seem to cultivate the most passion

is this something that you guys would be interested in? i mostly think that it would be fun to be on a podcast and i think it could be cool for a group of us to share our unique perspectives on games in real time, instead of just calling eachother faggots over multiple day periods in the general gaming thread.

i know that i've failed at boyah-centered projects in the past (lol prosquid) but i think that this would be a really cool thing to organize, even if we just did it simply with a google sheet for scheduling and skype for recording.

also i am not suggesting that i would be the host of the show (although i wouldn't be opposed to it if nobody else was interested), as many of you are way more involved in both boyah and gaming than myself

i've always been interested in sharing my opinions on games, be it through reviews or videos or whatever, so i'm down for this sort of thing.

what about hosting? it is usually good to have one person in charge of steering the conversation but i was thinking that if we came up with a specific format we could have whomever was the most interested in the game "host" and do their best to follow our format

-more personal thoughts on game
