The metro is pretty good but peak hours are horrible. Also, I hate that people call it the subway like it's the fucking 1920s. It's better than the dc metro at least.
subway isn't a period specific word though huhdoodame;

Although DCs isn't a true subway anyway
neither is ny since it has above ground sections but ppl call it subway

why don't we just call them for what they are 'waste of public funds'

imagine, interstate 80 could be autobahn quality across the nation if we didn't have them.  now who wouldn't want to drive 200km/h from sf to nj?

well i mean, it's not like i can jump on the Tram and go to san diego?

lmao I just imagined everyone doing that in the city what a fucking mess.

Every time one or two cars partially block a street because they wanted to make it before the red light. But the lights are set up so that those cars will be stuck in the middle of the street until the next light. Even traffic officers or w.e don't give a shit about this because it's rampant. Anyway, the metro is faster, safer, and less stressful than driving in a city.  It would be cool not to have speed limits in highways though.

are the speed limits even enforced on interstate highways?

depends.  if the state wants easy revenue, yes.  also you're more likely to be pulled over if u have 'foreign' plates

damn. where you near a city? The midwest seemed to be devoid of cops

The Hand That Fisted Everyone

that's GA. really a lot of states in the south will ticket your ass in a second. but GA is like, the shittiest state about it. Alabama I heard is tough on speed enforcement but i haven't been there.

Yeah they were dicks. First traffic offense ever and $550. Pretty dumb

silvertone

welp, guess i'm never roadtripping through the south.

PA boasted about being more strict with the speed limits but I never had a problem.

snoorkel

You could, you know, drive the speed limit (or BELOW) like normal people who respect the road laws and other drives.
why would you have a problem with that
fuel efficiency is greatest when curising at ~60-70mph anyway
do you hate the environment.
