I wonder if boyah can help me.

So, I was vacuuming a room today with a twenty year old canister vacuum. I was wearing white socks.

Towards the end, I stepped on the cord and felt an intense pain in the big toe of my right foot. It was awful. But I passed it off as nothing.

Maybe I just stepped on a heroin needle or something.

Now, I'm sitting here looking at my big toe and there is a lot of blood on my sock and a hole in the sock. There is a big red welt on my big toe where I may have stepped on the cord.

This cord is an insulated XLF nineties model which is federally certified, but I wonder if federal certificates expire over time?

My toe is bloody and now I have to spring for a new sock.

Help me Boyah.

Was it certified under the Clinton administration? There were a lot of defects during that era related to charged cords and the suction of vacuum cleaners.
