I only ever have my phone and wallet in my front right pocket, and front left has a cigarette case and lighter. I will carry a messenger bag just to avoid having to put a pen or pencil in either of those pockets

i don't live in an area where i'm the least bit worried about having anything stolen from me, so there goes one legitimate reason to not put a wallet in my back pocket
