i hear it all the time and i feel like it wasn't said a lot until recently
i think that people started to feel bad for saying that things were gay so they have moved on to the next worst thing

am i crazy?  baddood;

ME##

people feel bad about throwing around the term gay thanks to lgbtquap militarism so they had to pick up a new buzzword

people have been using retarded in its current form for at least my entire life

Technology and globalism go hand and hand. If you want to be on the forefront of technology then you gotta be global

the earth is flat you globecuck

YPrrrr

I've been hearing retarded slung around more than gay my entire life. Early in elementary school even.

Don't really get why it's exceptionally bad though. Is mentally, challenged better? Because that's used as an insult too. When it comes to deficiency in brain function, whatever you call it will always be used as an insult. Even 'special"

strongbad

it might be a regional thing, but i heard retarded a lot from elementary school-middle school and then i think people realized that it was insensitive and stopped using it

the politically correct thing to say is "a person with a disability." if you say "disabled person" then you are defining them by their disability

it honestly doesnt bother me that much but i was just wondering if anybody else had noticed a resurgence or if i am just werid

I think that's weird. If I was in a wheelchair I'd worry people would think I'm brain damaged since disability is all lumped into one category.

strongbad

i agree
but with that logic you also don't want to jump people with different mental disabilities together
somebody who is only mildly impaired will get lumped together with people who have massive deficits in functioning

okay going serious

yes i have noticed that too.  i think gays are just gradually being widely accepted around.

i like using "lame" if it fits
or ill just call out why their shit doesn't make sense if it's "literally dumb"

but i also love saying gay
