i want to be a social worker but

like i said before, i'd have no true problem with it if there was an option of no debt.  but man...social workers are one of the least paid for an occupation that requires a master's; 36k starting.

though i've heard that if i work in some troubled area (idk some troubled place in chicago, in which it wouldn't be hard to find.) then i could go for loan forgiveness.  i'd have to work for 10+ yrs, but it sounds like a good trade off.  helping niqqas and other kids seems gr8.  but lol paying like $900 a month on loans alone during that time.  what if i don't get a job then???  though i guess social work is presumed to be more demanded in the future

idk man.  im @ a loss here.  in addition to me wanting to be a social worker, i've had teachers, psychologists, other social workers, and brofs that really know me well, say that i got the empathy, experience w/ variety of shit, and compassion to help ppl.  like, i got a whole bunch of support.  but im just stuck with how ill be able to pay for this all...  i don't think i'd be eligible for a loan since i don't have much experience or had any stable jobs. 

i'd be the 1st one to pursue college in my immediate family past an associate's degree if i were to truly pursue school...

if i don't ever become one- i really wouldn't know what else to do but paint pretentious paintings and be a lame
