so registration comes along, and i am pretty disappointed looking at my selection of available classes, since i'm on track to graduate next quarter. why are so many classes full for me even though i am about to graduate?

so i go to the registrar's office to complain about the system. i explain that priority shouldn't be based on how many credits you have but instead on how close you are to graduating. that way, people who aren't double majoring or who haven't loaded up shit tons of credits (myself) don't get the short end of the stick. i didn't ask for special treatment- i just wanted to voice my frustrations

fast forward a week, and one of my psych professors goes "so apparently an anonymous psych student complained about our registration process and we had a large faculty meeting talking about it"
i was pretty sure that this was me, and it pleased me that i made at least a slight impact. a couple hours later and i get an email that they opened up a new section for a class that i couldn't get into. i drop one of my classes and sign up for it. david 1 wwu 0

then i go to an advisor to talk about graduation today and turns out that the class that i dropped was necessary for me to graduate and i was like fuck since i thought i had just fucked myself out of graduating (i didn't think i could get in it again because of the waitlist) but then it turned out that there wasn't a waitlist and i was able to get it in

so i am in exactly the same place as i was before i complained
oh well. at least i aided in creating a new class for some of my peers
doodhuh;

kind of a dumb post but fuck it lol

Bulgaria and India require them and I don't think Thailand's that far behind them

Do you have a teaching certificate

nah, but i've been looking at tesol (teaching english to speakers of other language) programs. only qualification is a BA
there's one i've been looking at where you fly to Thailand and you pay around $1000 for the course (in thailand) and they immediately set you up with a teaching job upon completion. only like a 120 hour course too
