the reason youth hate the boomers is because they're a generation of people who never let go of their youth and refuse to let the following generations grow.

consider that the sense of gross entitlement we attribute to boomers is something they grew into with age since most brag about coming up from absolutely nothing and it's in no way better today since children expect each other to all wear brand name clothing and have expensive smartphones.

i think the more troubling concern is that 20 year olds are already nostalgic and trying to buy their childhood back with endless shitty remakes of games and toys. imagine those people having a midlife crisis

we have these entry barriers into careers that are so impossibly high that people have now found ways to profit on the fact that no one is capable of getting a job. obviously the answer to the problem is not "boomers just need to die already" but they've set up this lifestyle for themselves that keeps us college grad age kids working at minimum wage jobs

You have what you have now because of boomers.  But for boomers you'd still be subsistence farming yourself.  Boomers gave you your computers and smartphones.  Without boomers, the kids wouldn't have a platform to launch their future to begin with, and they'd be reinventing the wheel every generation thereafter.
