i'm trying to finish her quest by fighting bosses with her

except it took three attempts just to get her into the lost sinner's room, because i could literally be standing perfectly still making some equipment changes for the upcoming boss fight and she'd randomly decide to walk off the bridge on the way to the fog wall to her death

yeah it's pointless. that's one of the worst offenders of this game having some utterly pointless boss fights pretty much just as filler

yeah they're the only reason that fight's challenging, it's like capra demon 2.0. after many strategies, i finally settled on trying to use flame swath on the little rats when they group together. killed them all at once.

anyway i just finished crown of the iron king so i'm done with all the dlc which also means i'm pretty much done with my first playthrough of this game
