i love how absolutely spineless china is

china would love nothing more than to condemn russia for its brazen irredentism because it hates the idea of having outsiders undermine its own territorial sovereignty (unsurprising when it has its own separatist movements lol), and more particularly because it leased a huge amount of farmland from ukraine last year (http://www.rferl.org/content/ukraine-china-leases-farmland/25114812.html), yet it can't do anything but sort of nervously accept russia's behavior because they're china's only powerful anti-'western' ally and betraying russia in this matter would weaken china's policy of western contrarianism lol
