Current problems with boyah.net/forums

- No page ever stops loading, something continues to load very slowly after html and stuff loads (some embedded script for tracking or other purpose??)
- Leaving tab open causes laptop fan to turn up and performance to die (probably related to above)
- HTML/PHP source and page resources are totally unoptimized+a complete mess

for example what the the hell is this

user agent detection hardly works (clearly)
no SSL
no attachments or uploadable avatars?

to say nothing of features and mods.

I can explain this.

It's a link embedded within a comment as part of project honeypot. 

No user will be hitting that link thus webcrawlers and bots will parse that from the page source and try to navigate there.

Given that https:// doesn't work we should probably redirect that to http://

it shouldn't affect page load time though.

No at least it's commented out so I don't think the server would get a bad response for it.

You might have to FTP in and do it that way since I can't do it from the admin panel. I can try later.

also go into the theme file which i can try later and change the https:// for the bannrs into http://

It adds up to 13 seconds on page load times before failing.

I don't think it's creating a problem, was just lamenting the the messy state of boyah's source  

edit: banners are a problem i would like to fix that
