oh god ...

i was deleting some directories in the the boyah account that were totally outside of /forums

somehow all of the the Theme URLs in boyah were set so the forum was using resources from those directories (dev directories)

when i tried to change them i got logged out and couldn't get back in  

so i had to change my username in the the database

then my password wouldn't work either

now it's all working again. sry
