Josh

It's been a long time since I've had any activity on Boyah, so I thought I'd make a thread to talk about one of my favorite things. What is your beer and liquor of choice? And cocktail, or whatever you're into.

My go-to beer is probably Rolling Rock because it's the only beer I don't "sip" on. I can chug them one after the other. That's not to say that I don't like darker beers. I really like Yuengling's Black and Tan, Magic Hat's #9 variety and Sam Adams from the tap when I'm at a restaurant with my coworkers. But those are for when I'm relaxing and watching TV or something. If I'm with friends or trying to get a good buzz, I drink cold Rolling Rock like soda.

As far as liquor goes, I've become a really big fan of bourbon. Mainly because I really enjoy the taste and don't have to chase it. I hate vodka. I'd rather be sober than drink vodka. I'm pretty neutral when it comes to rum. When I can afford it I like Wild Turkey, but since I'm broke I usually just buy the huge bottles of Evan Williams and make them last for about a month. I realize that Evan Williams is one of the "trashier" bourbons, but hey, it gets me where I want to go.

I don't usually drink mixed drinks. Probably because I don't really have much of a sweet tooth. But feel free to mention some good ones that you like.

i like hite and bacardi for cheap beer/liquor

YPrrrr

For beer I like some variety of pale ale. I get New Glarus' Moon Man the majority of the time

For liquor... I suppose I'd most often go for tequila. Especially at a bar because it comes with a free chaser (lime). Pretty much done drinking liquor straight. That was for when I was a newbie to drinking

piano moths

i typically just buy beer and when I do i go to fry's and like the make your own 6 pack of the craft beers. last night i had sex panther and it was good, im not sure what my favorite beer is tho i like variety. craft bier
kill them w kindness

The Hand That Fisted Everyone

Magic Hat is good.

I got a six pack of Bell's Smitten beer and it was pretty good. If i want some cheap shit I'll pick up some High Lifes and live the life fantastique

My go to liqour is Whiskey. Usually i just get the Evan Williams 100 proof cause its cheap as shit. My roommate got me a bottle of Jack Daniels for christmas and it definitely goes down smoother.  I want to splurg on some good shit somtime though. Some fancy shit only used for special occasions.

Well, yeah. I'm convinced there isn't any actual alcohol in Rolling Rock.

I like Newcastle. Magic Hat is good. Smuttynose Old Brown Dog is great.

Uh Harpoon's UFO Raspberry Hefeweizen is a delicious beer.
For beers that might be easier to find outside of New England Tsingtao or Sam Adams Cherry Wheat are both good.

Liquor, I'm a Whisky man.

I've driven home on a six pack of Rolling Rock. Frequently. It's tasty though.

tsingtao literally tasted like mud

sure it's cool and all because it's chinese, but really though china is not known for beer and it's clear why

i wouldn't doubt it if mud is their first ingredient. only the sloppiest shit permitted

god damn i have not had a worse alcoholic beverage

it's particularly bad because i bought it for an underaged friend when we were in nyc and i was hoping to be a good friend. i don't know whether he liked it either. i feel bad for the little ricemen who have nothing better to drink. may god bless their little commie souls. maybe someday they'll learn that grains make better alcohol than dirt

also japanese beers taste just like any bland american beer. not worth the price at all

chinookie ipa was really good. tastes like bitter grapefruit in a good way but idk if it's available outside my region.
