i've...started to become a little more confident and just only somewhat more outgoing- im trying to be as less sheltered as i can and doing little things to help me achieve that

- found a great professor painter, love that fucking guy he's great but he's been inactive for quite a while
- went to my first parade, literally gay but nice getting to know how it feels like
- went to navy pier on my own along and even one day got my sheltered parents to navy pier.  (did you know that in their TWENTY SIX years of being in america, they've NEVER gone to navy pier?  lol we used the trains and bus with me leading them)
- biked more to places i've never gone to before on my own
- a professor friendo has made an independent study for me so he could help me with interviewing...but it still hasn't been green lit, and we've been talking a whole lot more and got a bit more closer. 
- advisor has been pretty supportive for me, too
- been trying out new ways to wear shit so i've been looking like a ridiculous wreck in my campus
- trying to be more talkative
- went out drinking for the very first time and also got drunk for the first time, too- lol they all paid for my drinks i love my painting class.  tho we're all p. much separated now.  but that class was still good.  "marc is the man"  lol they love my creativity and comments wow
- eating vegetables & fruits a bit more
- carved my own pumpkin for the first time
- decorated my house with christmas stuff on my own because we haven't put up lights in many years. 
- made three friends, one of them revisited from the past, as we were more acquaintances that time.  and he wants to introduce me to weed and hookah

9/10 year.  heartfelt year, definitely. 

my professor friends have been there for me so much this year...i need to give them a meaningful gift basket before i go- all items based on my ideas and past events and things i'd want them to use for the rest of their lives- no fucking filler shit.  possibly a painting for each of them.  (lol still working on the tournament winner's paintings so that's a priority.)  in mid 2014- im going to be leaving them and im going to be on my own for the most part.  will probably not lose contact with them, though. 

aww man, i don't want to move on- but i know i gotta.

and im going to be done with cc soon, so i gotta think for myself more this year, too

the frat experience was ok, I only went to maybe 5 parties when I was in one.
