in high school i didn't know shit about metal and woodworking so tried them both out and they were so out of my comfort zone.

but then it actually became one of the few things i enjoyed and i made my own nightstand with woodworking and i made a hammer and a clamp in metals.  i liked woods more though.  i didn't really have that much of an appreciation for woodwork as much until i took that class.  i still use the nightstand

Geology was fun as fuck in college, I loved going to the lab portions of the class, especially once we got to the end of the semester and we started doing some paleontology lab assignments.

"Art of Storytelling" was a class I took mostly to fill an elective gap and because it was done by a professor I really liked, and it was tons of fun. I wasn't expecting to actually hear so many great stories from my classmates. It was exactly what it sounds like: coming up with stories to tell orally in front of a class. Some of it was mythology, some of it was personal stories.

my high school criminal justice class politically influenced me more than anything else, probably.

origins of christianity was a cool class because it was all about the historical context of the bible (mostly the old testament). i was just expecting an easy A but i actually learned something interesting too.

also, assembly was really cool. it demystified a lot of the shit i just didn't understand about how computers run programs and it's very applicable knowledge overall. also, designing a working processor and its own assembly language was a lot of fun. it was the most intense college project i've had and i loved every minute of it thumbup;

Whenever I take a course on environmentalism it always seems like it's going to be really boring but for some reasonthe pprofessors are usually pretty awesome. Probably because they're younger, but stillit seems like tthey're more open minded and willing to interact with students than to disappear as soon as class ends

yes, a lot

and our only textbook was the bible. my professor would give good lectures everyday so a textbook wasn't too important
