Bassir please help.

Every time I try and start up my normal pc, it says "This application failed to start because SAMSRV.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem." Help?

Apparently you can, because it told you what to do. Put in your install disc and restart.

What do you mean? Can you at least get to the screen where your desktop icons and task bar is supposed to show? Where are you stuck, exactly?

No. It gets to the loading screen, then it says that error message.

Well, if you have the Windows XP installation disk, then pop it up and run the Recovery Console.
