getting there and filling in my information and stuff and being told to wait in the lobby at around 20:25

waiting and trying to stare at any of the people there

nurse no.1 comes out and weighs me and is checking my pulse and stuff and just telling me to be calm.  once she realises what the machine just told her my heart rate was, she looks absolutely mortified.  'do you do lots of street drugs [this term is repeated a lot~], caffeine, stimulates etc?'.  i answer honestly and say just caffeine [and just generally being ~unhealthy~]

back in lobby, now with a crazy guy having either a conversation with the tv itself or a conversation about the tv with the woman who was sitting next to him.  i tried to not pay attention too much to what was being said.

nurse no.2 comes out and calls my name

i go back into room with her, she once again checks my heart rate and has much of the same expression the first lady did.  and asks me the same question about drugs.  she leaves and goes to fetch the doctor~.

doctor comes in has the same conversation about why exactly my chest might hurt and why my heart is beating so fast, and tells me that he wants blood samples, an ekg and x-rays.  soon leaves to go fetch nurse to do the ekg and draw blood.

nurse no.3 comes in and fairly quickly does the ekg and blood samples and wheelchairs me to the x-ray room [i felt bad about the last part, oh well~]

now after all the tests are done, nurse no.3 wheelchairs me back to my new room because something was wrong with the first, i'm not sure.  nurse no.2 comes back in and hooks me up to a secondary heart rate monitor that they can see from their work station and is about to put in the iv with fluids the doctor ordered when nurse no.3 comes in to check my blood sugar [she uses the blood from the iv needle to do this so no finger pricks~~]

now, there's lots, and i mean lots, of waiting there trying to make small talk with mother because there's nothing else to do.

finally doctor comes in and tells me the results of the ~tests~:

'your ekg is normal except for the fact that your heart is racing' [doesn't sound all that fine to me???]
'the x-ray shows that your heart is normal sized and lungs are fine' [oh boy]
'and the blood tests came back normal' [???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? how even what]

now he talks about secondary reasons for my chest pain and accelerated heart rate; for the former he sides on inflammation and has prescribed me lots of naproxen for it to see if that helps and for heart he says it might be dehydration and that i should drink more water and less caffeine.

i hope this is the last of it  :(

We mostly just talked about the family's history of heart problems.  My biological maternal grandfather died of one at a youngish age, as well as her grandmother died from heart problems too.
