Hair loss is tricky to cure, but it can be prevented somewhat.
Usually, the deal is that you stay on a form of medication permanently, or your body returns back to converting testosterone into dihydrotestosterone which tends to cause male patterned baldness.

Reviews tend to give heavier weight on the success to dutasteride compared to finasteride, but dutasteride's treatment for male pattern baldness is off-label.

finasteride brands:
propecia (1 mg)
proscar (5 mg)

All of these are orally taken. There are topical solutions as well, i.e Minoxidil, but minoxidil doesn't really prevent dihydrotestosterone from developing and accumulating around your hair follicles.
If you go the minoxidil route, aim for 5 percent, it may seem logical that a higher strength may warrant success, but in reality it doesn't.

Best method is to buy generic dutasteride and take it with minoxidil, they often create a synergistic effect with one another.
There are side effects, but they're as bad as taking an anti-depressant. Loss of a sex drive temporarily, increased shedding, etc.

If you're completely against everything I've stated, you can resort to a haircut that flatters your facial shape. If you have facial hair, you can use that for your advantage as well; but because you're anonymous I can't give you any advice since I can't determine your facial structure.
