thank god my house is bigger now and i have a dresser because i was seriously running out of space

today i got my building permit also so i am building a bridge on the lower part of the river that will make access to my house quick while still keeping it pretty solitary as well

it's also worth noting my house is pretty close to re-tail, which is in turn also close to the beach, so this makes money-making and such pretty quick

U can make decent money on the island by catching beetles during the evening

Beetles are the way to go in the evening/night time, as mentioned. I would recommend also chopping down the majority of your trees and all bushes to maximize spawn points of beetles.

I'm a hippie that can't bring myself to do it

It's okay though I still managed to get 300,000 bells in a couple hours from fish. Which I guess is easier with beetles but I feel like Mrs. Turtle would hate me for chopping down all the truffula trees
