A week ago, I visited a town with turnip prices at 330

Supposedly they can (very rarely) go very high, like over 600, but usually only reach above 200 like once or maybe twice a week.

my price is currently 137 bells
the previous two prices were 94 and 99 bells

There's an interesting official Nintendo dream town you can visit if you've unlocked the dream suite: 0000-0100-0017

There are a lot of good patterns there: dresses for Zelda ("Sky Princess"), Peach, and Daisy, shirts for Falco and KK, face-cutout signs for Mario, Luigi, Tingle, and Iwata, and square designs for every ingame store logo, Isabelle, Tom Nook, and Tingle.
Because the town is Japanese, names are in Japanese symbols, but that doesn't really matter.

I'll have to check that out when I get home.

I really like this Zelda dress I got from it and might use it as my main outfit now

Thanks to this town, I learned that tingle's catchphrase "kooloo-limpah!" is the same in Japanese (kururinpa), because one human character says it when you speak to him. I wonder why they like Tingle so much as to make a face-cutout sign of him, make another square pattern with his face on it, and use his catchphrase.
