I don't know. I am imagining one day what is happening in Syria will happen in the United States, and even around the globe. If it happens in the more 'stable' and developed countries, then the whole world will fall into anarchy. This is already the case in much of the world, but because we are isolated, and insulated, we do not know what it's like to live for survival. Our lives by contrast revolve around the economic machine, which at the moment more or less functions to keep us occupied and employed in the business of collecting things and spending money, which further files the cycle. And of course I have to mention the impressive State security apparatus that keeps everything in check. For now at least, because there is seemingly political order. But when either collapses, the other cannot exist, and we too will head down the path of no social order. In that case, a basement, or bottled water will be of little help. You will need a small Army and or a fortress, or perhaps, just a hole in the ground. Depending on your level of comfort and status. It's important to always keep this in mind when you see millionaire Senators with dozens of bodyguards, arguing to take your guns away so that you may be 'safe'. They are thinking worst case scenario, and are afraid, you should be too.



There are billions of people that fight to live and live to survive. But  They are cordoned off and something we read about on the Internet and learn of. This is possible because the developed countries are desperately fighting to keep these wars from their homeland and to sustain whatever economic machine they have developed for keeping their people occupied.
