gen 6 will be the the gen of 4k at 30 fps

but just like in gen3 going from an expectation of 1080p to a reality of 640p, that optimistic initial promise of 4k will translate to something like 3.2k in actual games :'(

it's both that the wii had insanely good sales and that the wii u has insanely terrible sales (i don't think any company has ever gone from king of the hill to rock bottom with such haste and efficiency as nintendo has)

even compared to the gamecube, that slope would be very negative
