What an awful placement of ABXY. This controller is clearly designed for games like FPSes where most button-based input is in the form of shoulder buttons. Good luck walking around and using whatever actions are mapped to X or Y at the same time.

I hope their trackpad implementation is joystick-like rather than requiring repeatedly lifting your finger. That would be absolutely awful.

the ps4 and xbone are pretty much identical hardware-wise, the only difference is the type of memory being used.

seriously that's the main problem I have, also a complete lack of a d-pad

blu, to answer your question about the pads working as joysticks or having to lift your thumbs, it seems it can do both

and the center buttons seem to be additional buttons (like start/select), the right trackpad simulating the buttons usually on the right, tho idk how that's gonna work with games that would use both sticks on a normal dualstick controller

i'm thinking the right trackpad will interpret sliding your thumb as using the right stick and pressing it as pressing the buttons lol idk

but either way as far as simpler games go i guess this is reassuring somewhat
