Each of Mario, Link, Fox, and now Marth have had two clones in Smash games
Mario had Dr. Mario and Luigi, though the latter has gradually become less of a clone thanks to adding and changing specials in Melee and Brawl
Link had Young Link and Toon Link, though some people might argue these two are the same character
Fox had Falco and Wolf
Marth had Roy and Lucina

At least Link and Marth haven't ever had two clones in the same game

bring back directional air dodges  cnotedood;
they make no sense cnotedood;

Plus then they'd probably make you helpless after dodging again which imo is horrible

no way
they are so helpful for recovering. characters with shitty up bs need them so much to expand options
are also very useful for wavedashing
silvertone

i saw a surfer try to wave dash but he got wiped out

i knew that was where you were going n_u

I would say multiple air dodges is more helpful to recovery since it allows you to better avoid edge guarding. And I think shitty up Bs were way more of an issue in melee anyway due to the heaviness/fast falls of characters

Hiro

also to people saying lucas is a clone, of course they can tweak his moveset like they've done with other characters

well shitty recoveries got helped...

Now a character going for a ledge another character already occupies will replace the first character there

Good for olimar, bad for edgeguarding

Wow, Nintendon't

TooB

I'd like to have that as a replacement system, if the original model 3ds ac works on an xl

Meta Knight was confirmed to return in Smash 4 about a day ago. He can't glide anymore with the up-special.

Wow, Nintendon't
Yes, Nintendo of Europe has been refusing to include AC Adapters with every version of the 3DS XL there.

Thankfully that level of insanity hasn't managed to make its way anywhere else. We'll probably get that same system bundle here with an AC adapter included for a lower price.
