fuck the guy that won lol, 2nd place didn't even get a trophy but the losers bracket guy did?
the whole tournament was structured oddly, and they kept going back and forth on stock & time modes
also disappointed in the lack of any announcement at the end, but overall it was still cool

announcers tried so hard to make it hype but instead it was hella campy and slow

Supposedly there's a reliable leaker who claims the remaining newcomers are Shulk (Xenoblade), Chrom (FE), and Chorus Men (Rhythm Heaven)

This is the first time I've heard about it but apparently there were articles posted about this in April (including claims of Greninja, Palutena, and Pacman)

Current roster has 33 characters with 9 newcomers and 24 returning brawlers
Brawl's roster had 35 characters or 39 when split.

Some people are saying the roster grid's icons' aspect ratio looks just right for a final grid size of 4x12, allowing 47 characters, which would be just enough to only drop about 4 brawlers (if there indeed are 3 more newcomers). I believe the most droppable brawlers include Snake, Lucas, Wolf, Ivysaur, and Squirtle.
