I really don't think thats the case... I saw Jeff Mangum a month ago (for 30 dollars) and he just seemed like he wanted to perform again and seemed to have a really nice time.


but anyways YES> i hope they make it out west with this

Geoff is probably rolling in it. ITAOTS is still making bank. not to mention there is like no overhead for his tours. He's playing nicer venues this go around, so it would probably be more expensive (at least here in Asheville)

lineup isn't half bad. Animal Collective, Zola Jesus & JG Thirwell, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, etc. Then bassnectar and pretty lights. probably the dumbest lineup for an electronic music festival but whatever.

tickets are onsale this thursday. 150$ plus taxes etc. then of course there is bullshit VIP plan with line cutting and front row exclusive seating. People doing this are the same people who did Moogfest, Big Ears, and i think bonnaroo for a few years??? either way their a bunch of shitheads who know how to get bands to come play and grab their fans by the short and curlies
