i took a test similar to this a few months ago and got a really high score but i don't remember it anymore lol

I like using a real passage; it feels much more natural to type real sentences (with punctuation too) instead of random short words. Like it says, what it actually counts is number of characters typed divided by 5 instead of relying on the length of the words you actually get. Some judging while you type might be nice, like live fields at the corner for current wpm, but I don't like how that one you linked empties the text box on every whitespace and scrolls the source text; that's distracting to me.



Also this one seems less reliable to me: I retried it a few times after that one and got 72 with one mistake, 65, and 86 with one mistake. With the other one, I also retried a couple times and got results within like 2wpm. I would've gotten even lower results on this one if I continued instead of retrying those couple of times I made an error (mostly reading the wrong word) in the first few seconds.

Not gonna do this on my phone but I've done typeracer and stuff and the fastest I've logged myself at was120 wpm. I'd say I type 90 pretty comfortably.
