anyway these days i always name Pokemon characters after their manga counterparts' color names

so like, RBY protagonist i named Red, GS protagonist i named Gold, and in BW i named my girl White

when i was a little tyke i'd use Ryan though, at least i did on Red and Gold

At least ever since Gen 3, I always use my own name

and in the other games I use the default name

I just never know what the default names are anymore because it won't let me leave the name input blank and hit continue and input the default name for me anymore.

I used to name myself "Ash" or "Seth" (idk why though), but now I just use Max and for my rival I'll use a friend's name or the opposite color version.
