i have a 3.4 gpa right now, but i fucking hate school. hate. i don't even know why i'm here. i'm a chemistry major and people keep asking me what i want to do with my degree. i don't know how to respond because i don't give a fuck. why am i here? why am i spending all this money? to get a degree and get a job? so i can work for some fucking guy? that's stupid.

i wouldn't really worry that much? if you don't know what to do and you can stand being in school, just getting a degree might not be such a bad idea, even if you don't necessarily apply it where you'd expect to. but if you really don't wanna be there, then don't be there. you have time, just do what you want for once. you can always go back if you really want to.
