well, yours was probably mostly a better explanation of ivs

of course, really, it gets more complicated because there are formulas you can use yourself to determine ivs and there's the details of breeding for them and blah blah blah

ivs are something i've never bothered with too much just yet. ev training, yes. but that's easy. nature hunting, definitely. but breeding for ivs is something i've avoided thus far, but i'll probably try it out on at least one poke that i want to be as good as humanly possible.

Darkrai isn't considered an uber or banned from tourneys as far as I know.

Fine, I'll just use my Modest EV/IV trained Lucario.

Idk I use smogon and he's uber. One of the scariest mons in ubers too. High speed, high special attack, nasty plot, and the second best sleep move in game. Pretty ridic.

if we are ever going to hold a pokemon tourney, we'd need to set some rules because not everyone here is into ev training and stuff like me, ypr, and snowy are (and idk if blu is)

we should have a tourney designated for normally-raised pokes and maybe keep ubers and borderlines out of it or something

and, should there be a level cap? really doubt all of us are going to have a level 100 team ready to go any time soon. maybe we should have a level 50 tournament first or something. save level 100 boyah tournaments for later.

I actually don't even EV train usually unless it's a favorite pokemon of mine. I've only ever EV trained like 4. Maybe super training will make it less of a chore though? I put a lot of efforts into teams and movesets though so I usually do alright despite non-optimal stats.

super training is probably honestly slower than just battling pokes in an area with a high encounter rate of that poke

but since you won't have access to fly for a while, super training is effective early game

and it'll be a nice break from battling pokes for a while or if it's for a stat that you've having trouble finding the right pokes for, i guess

i just ev trained a modest starmie about a week ago in white lol

but idk if that starmie will be brought over, i'll probably just make a new one.

The only reason I bothered with making a Darkrai like that was because I was told that he wasn't considered uber

most legendaries are. notable exceptions include kanto's legendary birds and johto's roaming legendary dogs. and the "little legendaries" like mew, jirachi, victini, etc.

Victini isn't? I remember him being particularly strong when I got him.

he's considered a very good OU poke, but only the version that has v-create. the movie event version. the mystery gift one that everyone had access to does not get v-create.

a friend of mine EV trained a Beedrill for some reason. It was pretty good in the end.I have a Timid Darkrai built around Dark Void, Nasty Plot, Dark Pulse and Aura Blast. He's terrifying to go against.

yeah your darkrai is built for neutral coverage pre-fairy introduction because of dark/fighting moveset combo lol

still, obviously, anything that isn't fairy could get fucked up by that darkrai

Did you just rush through and ignore everything that isn't needed to proceed in the story?

I like to actually explore the game and do everything along the way, so it took me like 60 hours of playtime to finish.
