Also everything early game seems to be weak to fire or at least neutral against fire or psychic. Braixen kills everything. Also have a riolu, pancham and ivysaur around level 23. Braixen level 28. Not even at second gym yet, maybe I skipped over it?

Idk just weird I have so many level 20 pokemon without any grinding. Not sure if I'll end up using lucario or evolved pancham.

I've been boxing extra pokemon because i was worried it was costing others experience

the cool thing about these games for me is that once i get it, all the gen 5 pokemon will be just as new so it'll be like getting two generations at once

No, it doesn't. The non-battlers get half as much exp as the battlers.

yes but now it's not a held item, you turn it on and it gives all pokemon in your party half experience if they didn't fight

So I can't decide which gen 1 starter to go with. I want mega charizard, and mega blastoise is dumb, but i do like wartortle a lot, mega venusaur's okay. but i already have braixen so having 2 fire starters seems a bit silly

I caught a Pikachu in the forest at the start of the game so right now he's super useful. I went with Froakie and Bulbasaur.

I got a pikachu as well, plan on evolving him to raichu since he's my favorite.
