A goat, grass-type
A panda, fighting-type
A bird, normal/flying
Screenshots show riding the goat in the overworld

Both protagonists have full concept art now, with screenshots showing that you can choose one of (only) three appearances for each at the beginning of the game: normal, blonde hair, or dark skin.

My opinions on these: the panda is great, the bird is just obligatory and nothing special, and the other two are good. I have no idea what the lizard's head is supposed to be.
Riding pokemon might be interesting, but hopefully there's a good sizeable set of pokemon that can be ridden
also the female protagonist looks like her thigh is wider than her waist in that concept art

I think her proportions would be fine if they scaled down the legs in that artwork
by like 20%
