My GP did not seem like a person who really knew anything about mental health more than he needed to. My counselor didn't bring it up.

Also, he (GP) said that the best treatment is the one that doesn't involve putting "chemicals" in your body. That was probably the worst thing I've ever heard come out of a doctor's mouth.
