do you have a block heater in your car

minnesotans have block heaters in their cars. do iowans? they're far north enough so i would think so. i wonder if nebraskans do? i wonder if southerners even know what block heaters are?

it is what it sounds like

a heater for the engine block to keep it from freezing so your car will actually start in the morning. it has a standard power cord that sticks out of the front of the car.

I disagree because "block" could mean a number of things, and "engine block" is pretty far down the list for me since I don't know shit about cars.

Minnesota and Michigan are almost on par for being North. I have never heard of a block heater.
