activision may well hold true to the 'non subscription fee' promise, but it's in-game microtransactrions that worry me more with the way the gaming world is going.  surely it'll want more revenue streams than just the game itself if it's supposed to live that long.  at which point, i would say i would prefer a nominal fee [anything sub-$10 would be fine] and then use fictionalspacebucks the game gives you to procure items than real money myface;

i decided to check out the cesspool that is the joystiq comments today about destiny.  all they were doing was complaining about it being 'hur halo mmo :DDDDDDD'

i guess some of the helmets in the concept art could be similar but you're always going to find that when a developer has done nothing for the previous x amount of years but develop one game franchise.  destiny doesn't even seem to share halo's obnoxiously bright colour palate awdood; [/spoiler]
