Uhhh, I don't know how to go with this, since I'm always having middle-aged people, mainly teachers/professors/etc. more as acquaintances than peers, but, I don't know- I suggest a social worker or some teacher you're comfortable with.  I don't know how you should approach it, because out of nowhere, I just start really "deep" conversations with these guys.

I became friends with a professor that actually considers me as a friend.  He said that he never wants to lose contact with me, and we talk so damn casually.  But lately, he's been having troubles of his own.  I've been trying to cheer him up, as he has done the same for me.  But for now, he's trying to spend time with his own family, but he said he'd try to contact me sometime, even when I said it was optional like two times.

He's such a great person.
