saying there's no such thing as a 10/10 is  silly, what's the point of a 10 if no game will ever achieve it?
I think 10/10 games can have faults, just very minor ones that don't detract from the game
basically 10/10 should be given to maybe 1-3 games a year imo
but we're talking about famitsu, who (used to) have a reputation for being incredibly tough, so for them a 40/40 should be like top 10 games ever made

look on the textures on the road that pulls into the red building on the right

there's no even any fucking ground underneath that white car

the car looks good but everything else is what i'd expect from a late gen xbox game.

that screenshot makes it look like it'd perform just fine on the wii
