WHAT DO YOU THINK I'VE BEEN TRYING akudood;

...there is no possible way to mess this up, z-target him and shoot him with an arrow. it can't even miss. then when he's stunned just get in the water above him and sink to him and use your magic shield as a zora. or swim at him and do it. whatever. you have so much time to do it that i can't even imagine where the difficulty could come from.

Kalahari Inkantation

i was unaware of kaz's strategy so i absolutely hated gyorg awdood;

goht is def. one of zelda's most enjoyable bosses

yeah goht rules

but yeah i remember when i was streaming majora and you guys were like "ugh i hate this boss" when i fought gyorg. i've never actually watched someone else fight him i don't think, so i have no idea how most people do it.

goht was fun but kind of ridiculously easy. like it's a cool concept but there's not really much chance of you dying.
What the fuck was it for anyway?

Samus Aran

well "no chance of you dying" is basically 75% of all zelda bosses anyway

silvertone

dying on a boss a lot sucks and is a dumb feature to havei n games. it is less fun .unless u have like a check point right infront of boss

played it for like 3 hours then my game froze gave up on it.
that happened to me.  It froze during the second boss fight and i lost my progress for the entire dungeon and haven't touched it since then. i was pissed

Patrick Stickles

the only zelda boss i actually died from was the giant purple tentacle monster in skyward sword because i didn't have any idea about what to do for a little (also korok or whatever because i didn't think you could pick up his sword)

i mean there's the normal zelda easy and then there's goht, which is literally "just roll around for a while with someone rolling around with you and catch up to it every now and then and we'll throw some obstacles in your path but you can easily avoid them and if you don't then no harm no foul"

well i've died on bosses in older zelda games, like alttp and the gb/gbc ones, but that's with having fairies to revive me anyway so

also when i was a kid i think i died on twinrova in oot lol

Kalahari Inkantation

>expecting difficulty out of 3d zelda games

gyorg is one of the easiest bosses in zelda history lol

shoot it with an arrow and then go hit it with your zora underwater magic shield thing

that's all you do

i never said it was hard, i just said that i dont like it. underwater parts freak me out.

ive noticed that people dont really seem to read my posts very clearly, do they?

play Zelda I, Zelda II (briefly), ALttP, OoT MQ
play OoT Master Quest
play ALttP, then OoT Master Quest
or...ZI, ZII, ALttP, LA, BS AST, OoT MQ, Ages (there's no way, but it's the only way)
also in celebration, I'm gonna buy the biggest bag of Doritos Salsa Verde I can find.
