I've always remembered that part more than the others. That whole part of the world has this... sad feeling to it. I like it.

Yes, A Link to the Past. The vine maze where you meet Ukiki and you have to pay him to open the dungeon for you (first Dark World dungeon).

Ukiki is also in Link's Awakening, where you have to give him a banana bunch and then he'll repair a bridge for you.
