gj nintendo

>having that expensive of a controller

ya blew it

don't let's

Just think, they could have had the controller be more independent of the console and made games specifically for it. Like a handheld that connects up to the console but only larger.

There's no point in buying one because there's no games out that support multiple GamePads. So I don't see the point in being upset. While yes, it's a high price, they'll drop it because no one will buy it.
maybe you have hardwood floors and drop your controller 6 inches and it breaks

hope you got 200 bux

If they have hardwood floors, they likely have that kind of money.
I love [you]

that would be seen as nintendo abandoning the 3ds

... And the DS, GBA, GB, and the Wii. goowan
a) all of those but the wii are handhelds, not consoles
b) removing gamecube compatibility and printing the logo sideways is hardly a redesign baddood;

Personally I think Nintendo has lost it's thinking ability.

It's possible a third party would make replacement controller but why would Nintendo accept that?   doodhuh;

a) But they've all had redesigns goowan
b) if it's changed from it's original design it's a redesign. goowan
a) but i was specifically talking about consoles
b)so is the 60gb ps3 a redesign from the 80gb ps3?  akudood;

also you guys nintendo has said if your controller breaks you can buy a new one through tech support or whatever

Daddy

So you have to call them and wait for it to ship rather than going to the store ?

Also going back to where Hiro said I haven't called other companies out for redesigning consoles, david was correct. I have commented on Sony and the PSP.  Different revisions of the PS3 have also caught flak from me.

I give Microsoft a pass on the 360 Slim because it specifically fixed issues where 1/5- 1/2 (depending on the source) of systems were getting a RROD. They offered extended warranties on the defective systems and redesigned it so new systems didn't have that defect.

That is far different than Sony taking the PSP, stripping out UMDs, and putting the screen on a slider or Nintendo releasing the DSLite, DSi, and DSi XL one after another. Neither of the redesigns by Sony or Nintendo were to address major hardware failure on the scale of the original 360.
