The assassin is my favorite mostly because I enjoy the ridiculous amount of damage you get for crits with the right skills. I rarely use Zer0's ability, tho. I only really use it if a huge enemy shows up or I if I need to re-position. It seems incredibly useful if you bother to upgrade it, tho.

Meeeeeee too. I always like having something to aim for, getting rewarded for it. Charging in with a shotgun just seems so... vulgar >_<'

Having a good shotgun as an assassin is still pretty useful. Gotta do something if they get too close.

It's especially helpful for psychos.

True I suppose... I really miss my incendiary weapon currently, I used to be able to crit a guy and not worry about him dying because of the added damage... now I've got shock and that just sucks >_<' Need to find a corrosive gun for my newfound robot buddies, the first constructor was a pain in the ass because I didn't realize it could regenerate shields and just killed his never ending minions instead

Corrosive is my personal favorite element, it's useful against everything.  I have a really good corrosive sniper and a really good slag one.

i found it. its in the wildlife preservation, in an area called the natural selection annex.

I'm lvl 24 commando and lvl 14 Assassin.

I was just taken to the two surprises in the caustic caverns, holy shit it made my night. Also I don't know how they showed up but there's these Chubby varkids that dropped purple and orange drops and damn I wished I acted faster and snatched that orange (rocket launcher) but I was nice and let someone else grab it. Also I thought the golden key would get us an orange weapon..dang.  Can you still do that trick to get two?

i beat it and am a level 36 gunzerker and i think this game was fantastic

but like the second playthrough isn't enticing without buds to play with (ps3 help me out lol)

apparently, in regards to that bug a while back, which wiped your rank, downloading the DLC has a chance to make that bug resurface, and even wipe out your save. so to be safe, back up that save file on a flash drive or something

went in blindly when downloading the update, and luckily nothing happened. Then I was told that it could reset your rank. Also isn't there something about the Shift account causing the rank to reset?

IDK, apparently the DLC and update dont have anything to do with the rank bug. the bug is a different bug altogether. thats what gearbox says.
luckily, nothing happened to my game.
