This actually was significantly worse until about a week ago; I didn't have the brown table, so the second monitor rested on top of the tower, significantly below eye-level. The left speaker is on the bureau that's behind the chair's headrest in this picture.

Are you referring to its shape?

I actually hate the shape this thing has. It takes up as much space as a rectangular desk, has much less surface area (especially where I would otherwise put speakers), rotates easily when pushed, and is a little uncomfortable
