So just use it as a means to start opening up, to stop caring, and just to enjoy yourself. The first three years of high school were hell for me. I am willing to say was kind of enjoyable. It's the perfect year to get practice opening up to people.

Just keep yourself going on the fact that it will get better. Within a month of being at a community college, where there weren't even dorms I had made a number of friends who I talk to, hang out with, and just associate with regularly. Imagine how easy it will be in a dorm?
