We were on the train to Chinatown when we saw a woman in a gettup (presumably for PAX East or Anime Boston)

She had a nametag that said "Frippy Frap" and can't find what the fuck frippy frap is.


Her costume is not something I could identify. She had a fake chinstrap type beard,  shoes that curled up like elf shoes or a genie, golden ropes attaching various parts of her outfit, and a white plushy cat/egg looking digimon thing.

Yes, some people dress as what they call original characters to conventions. In my opinion it's sillier than dressing as some character that people actually know of and generally people don't care as much about cosplays for characters nobody knows.

With a name like "frippy frap", if that's the actual character name, I'd be more surprised if it actually was a real character.
