If you want to go further east, prague, budapest, and vienna are all amazing. Prague has the best and cheapest beer in europe.

Most tourists: anywhere in italy's big cities (though for a reason)
Most expensive: switzerland
Best value: prague/budapest/anywhere not in the eu, switzerland, uk, or scandinavia

we're just planning right now. I'm moving to a place with a substantially cheaper cost of living so hopefully by our leave date (around thanksgiving) I will be able to have enough saved up for travel. It might come about that I can't go but I'm going to work hard to do this.

also I would totally go to europe with you this summer but I am indeed poor.
