Longest time being single?

And no not the amount of time before your first girl/boyfriend. That's like when people say "lol 12 years" when they're asked how long they've gone without jerking off.

I don't really count anything before high school, and even starting from my freshman year is being generous. But for sanity's sake, my benchmark is when I started high school. You can judge yours however you'd like. GO.

Freshman year - dated nobody, single for a whole year

Sophomore year - had girlfriend for three months, broke up with her. Dated other girl for a month, she ended it. Four months out of that year I wasn't single, whoopee.

Junior year - First serious relationship, had girlfriend that entire year.

Senior year - Was still with girl from junior year but broke up with her the first month into senior year.

So from the beginning of my senior year to the end of my first freshman semester of college, I was single, so about a year and a half. I dated a girl pretty seriously for a month January of this year, but broke up with her last week because I realized that I couldn't handle NOT being single, both because I was so used to being Foul Bachelor Frog and because I had enough shit to keep me busy.

So all in all, my best record for singleness the year and a half that spanned my senior year of high school and the end of my first semester of college. Here's to another glorious, single, music and vidya-filled year, and not a single fuck was given.

I didn't get a girlfriend til I was 17. We broke up right before I turned 18. I was single from then til...right before i turned twenty? so somewhere around a year I suppose, give or take a few months.

i was in a two year relationship lasting from when i was 14 to 16. then 3 months after i broke up with her i dated another girl for like two months. then i dated that same girl about 8 months later. then i dated that same girl about 8 months later. this repeated until i left for college. then i dated another girl 3 months after and that lasted about a year.

it has been a year and 2 months or so since my last relationship, so now is the longest i have been single.

By my rules I've never really had a 'girlfriend', for the sake of a common term, because none of the relationships lasted to or formed what I consider to be a meaningful and indisputable truth. So I've always been single, save a few interludes, through the hills and caves. Like a lonely cat on the modern day Serengeti.
