I just finished my first heat, and got an average of a 90.2 from my judges.

I'm currently in 2nd, but I can only hope I get a better set of waves to choose from then I did the first time. They were all pretty small, so I had to improvise my run.

Anyways, 2nd heat is in an hour, wish me luck.

Basically, a round.

You get 5 waves, and you choose what one you ride. The judges then decide your score, and you have to wait for the other surfers to go again, and then it's your turn again. Whoever has the highest score average at the end of 3 heats wins.
