Gratuitious space battles is one of the best games I have played in like ever good lord

Jamestown is pretty fun too

Basically you set up your ships however you want, and then you put them into a formation. When you are done with that you send them into battle and at this point you lose control of the ships but they move in your formation and have a crazy space battle
