Real close to christmas though.

actually, yeah, I do like those. I was thinking more along the lines of those terrible kids' movies with the animated men made of snow and classic tunes like "Deck the Halls," "Jingle Bells," "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree," etc.

Uhuh, I have had my fill of 'you must never do a tango with an eskimo, no, no, no, oh dear no', and all of those renaissance fair melodies. The songs are good, I just have the unenviable position of listening to them while I work and run around.

But I love this. It is my favorite when it comes on.

I'm glad you pointed that out. But, to be fair, if there is one family I could see sitting down to actually watch amd enjoy Elf, it would be the family responsible for producing Hiro.
