so we still haven't turned our heat on yet and the thermostat in the living room says 54 degress and the one in the kitchen says 58 and I am wearing a sweater and my hands are cold. when should I turn on the heat?

guys. it's november 29th. the first snow was over 3 weeks ago. it was 54 degrees. i couldn't sleep.

besides I only turned on the living room furnace. I still have the gas shut off to the kitchen furnace.
